the question mark is about the Virginia shootings, right? 2 Timothy 3:1 says we are in critical times. Vs.3 speaks of having "no natural affection, without self-control or love of goodness and being fierce. We do well to remember that having self-control, a true love and feeling for others and a love of goodness will help us to resist the urge to harm others, keeps us from being fierce towards others. lori
Yes, it was for the college - but it is also for every act of senseless violence in every corner of the world, including our own neighborhoods...best 'fought' with love, as you said. My daily mantra is, "Each new day give thanks, help others, and make a difference."
