For the uninitiated, I created these "Fried Friday" blogs for a very good reason. For those that work a 'normal' job and hours Monday through Friday, we are all rather 'fried' when Friday rolls around. And given I work in the news industry, I see a lot of strange, funny, stupid, zany, and just plain, well, 'fried' news stories come across the desk. Hence my tribute every Friday sharing with you a story that is unique, to say the least. It goes without saying that the choices are many..

For many, Life is very stressful. Doesn't have to be, but it is...or at least people make choices in their actions and perceptions to help support that illusion. Who's kidding who, I'm as guilty as the next person, though I know better than to get caught up in the angst of what is a temporary situation.
Too, it's been said that 'frustration' is actually a gift, as it opens up the opportunity for a creative solution. When you get frustrated, get creative....
DATELINE: BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA
I haven't been to South America, much less Buenos Aires, but I hear there are some rather significant social 'issues' there. Especially in this world economy, for many developing countries government-funded projects are shriveling while government corruption is blossoming...but I digress.
For the working class, having a job is very important. Getting to said job is just as important, especially with high energy prices. They say you can't get paid if you don't go to work, and if you can't get to work, you don't get paid.
I think that's what they call a 'sticking point', and in Buenos Aires rail commuters became rather inflamed over what was disrupted train service for a variety of reasons Thursday morning.
Literally.
Inflamed.
Whether it was the dillapitated track infrastructure causing delays, or other malfunctions causing cancelations of some runs, it happened and the populace was not a happy camper.
To recap so far, we have a rather poor population who needed the train connections to get to work, it got greatly snarled and disrupted, and they got angry. Really angry.
How angry did they get? Angry enough to set fire to some trains and hurl rocks through windows at train stations to relieve their steaming pressure and 'show' the government how displeased they were.
Oh, now THAT was a really good idea. I think that's called 'cutting off your nose to spite your face'. Good luck getting to work, now.

May your commute to and from work be a more zen-like time for you.
Now, move over and get outta my lane!!!!
