Quick update to this morning's post...

I wrote and posted the blog below before the 5am data set came in...there has been a shift in the potential track a bit southward, which would take Felix's "eye" inland in NE Honduras and through the mountainous countryside...then into souther Belize. This is not good news for Honduras, especially. Read more below...

Yep, that's a mean lookin' hurricane. I didn't get to the beach yet. Everyone thought it was too hot to go, so we'll try sometime this month. But I think I'd like to wait until that storm off Georgia's coast is gone. Lori

I like the beach after Labor Day, for sure...I don't 'do' crowds real well, and most are gone! Go while it's quiet at the beach! No telling if 'canes will make it north or if high pressure will choke us from all rain....UGH!!!
