Ever since I got my old Canon S2 back I never really took it out for a spin using the macro function...but yesterday's morning walk with Mercy revealed lots of neat buds and such that were perfect targets for informal snapshots. Just like I enjoy sitting and watching a dove preen, so, too, do I like just looking at things like buds, and how they all do their own thing. Too, they look really large but most were quite tiny. There is one shot that's not of a bud; not sure if the young tree shoot grows that way or if there is a parasite in the trunk, but it sure looks neat up close!
